7g sachet dry yeast
1 teaspoon caster sugar
1 cup wholemeal plain flour
1 1/4 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Place yeast, sugar and 1 cup warm water in a jug. Whisk to dissolve yeast. Stand in a warm place for 10 minutes or until frothy.
Sift flours into a large bowl. Add salt, yeast mixture and oil. Mix to form a soft dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5 to 7 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in a large oiled bowl. Cover. Set aside in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Using your fist, punch down centre of dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 20 to 30 seconds or until smooth. Divide dough in half. Roll out each half into a 25cm round. Place rounds on 2 greased pizza trays.
